A short pact
The Sphere is for honest reflection and gentle support. Be kind, be curious, and protect each other's privacy. These guidelines exist so the space stays usable for everyone.
What's welcome
Personal reflection
Insights from your readings, journal-style musings, gratitude, and what your practice is teaching you.
Genuine questions
Honest curiosity about astrology, tarot, numerology, divination, or spiritual growth.
Supportive replies
Kind, constructive comments that help others feel heard and welcome.
Sharing readings
Linking to a reading you generated on the platform when it adds context to your post.
What we remove
Hate, harassment, or threats
Attacks based on identity, repeated targeting of a person, doxxing, or any threat of violence are prohibited.
Sexual or explicit content
No sexual content, nudity, or content that sexualises minors in any form.
Spam, scams, and self-promotion
No bulk posting, off-platform sales, affiliate links, recruiting for paid services, or chain-letter content.
Medical, legal, or financial advice
Readings are entertainment. Do not present them as professional advice or diagnoses, and do not solicit such advice from the community.
Impersonation and fake accounts
Do not impersonate others, including practitioners, public figures, or staff.
Illegal or dangerous content
No content that promotes self-harm, illegal activity, or that violates anyone's rights.
How moderation works
Every post and comment is screened by automated moderation before going public. Content that looks risky is held in a pending queue for human review by Fortuna Matata staff. Approved content becomes visible to other members. Rejected or removed content is hidden from public feeds, and we keep an internal record so we can act on repeat issues.
Reporting content
Anyone signed in can flag a post or comment using the report button. Reports go to a private queue. Staff review reports in order, with priority for safety, harassment, and minors-related concerns. If a report is unfounded we dismiss it. If it is confirmed we either reject the content (it disappears from feeds) or remove it entirely. Repeated violations may lead to a suspended or terminated account.
Takedown and copyright
If you believe content on Fortuna Matata infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to legal@fortunamatata.com. Include: a description of the work you own, a link to the post or comment in question, your contact details, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised. We respond to valid notices promptly and remove material where required by law. False takedown claims may be referred for legal action.
Appeals
If your post or comment was removed and you think it was a mistake, reply to the moderation notice in your notifications, or write to support@fortunamatata.com. Tell us the post URL and why you think the decision was wrong. We aim to respond within a few business days. Decisions on appeal are final.
Privacy and other people
Don't share private information about anyone without their consent. That includes their name, contact details, photo, location, or anything you learned about them outside the platform. Anonymous posts still need to follow these rules: anonymity is for privacy, not a free pass.
Account requirements
Fortuna Matata is intended for users aged 16 and older. By posting in the community you confirm you meet this age requirement and that you accept our Terms of Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly break these guidelines.
Changes
We may update these guidelines as the community grows. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
